
Free family-oriented, mass participation cycling events, taking place in 10 cities across the UK this summer, including Leicester.
You'll be able to join Skyride Leicester (29th August) from King Lear's Lake in Watermead, where 400 cyclists started their Skyride last summer.
Watermead Country Park is only a short cycle ride from Syston Railway Station (hourly Lincoln to Leicester train service via Nottingham and Loughborough).

If you live in the Blaby/Whetstone/ Glen Parva area, you might like to know that you can also join the Skyride from outside Glen Hills Library, Dorothy Avenue Rec (in Glen Parva).
There is a large Car Park at Watermead North (costs £1.50) if you'd like to bring your bikes by car. There are a limited number of free car parking spaces at Glen Hills Library.
