New Park & Ride Offers Kick In

Passengers using the Enderby Park and Ride service will be eligible for new discount offers on food, clothes and gifts from Saturday.

A brand new set of vouchers will be available to download from 16th January from the park and ride website www.quicksilverbus.co.uk.

The offers, which contain discounts for places such as Hotel Maiyango, the Orange Tree (pub), Niche and Pilot can be claimed at the outlets with a valid bus ticket. The new deals are on top of the existing ‘Passenger Privileges Voucher Booklet’ which has been around since the service started in November.

‘Passenger Privileges’ vouchers are still available until 15th May and offer exclusive discounts at some of Leicester’s most popular restaurants, shops and coffee shops, as well as a spa and hairdressers - all just a stone’s throw away from the city centre bus stop. Lesley Pendleton, County Council Cabinet Member for Highways and Transportation, said: “The Enderby Park and Ride is a real asset for visitors, commuters and shoppers as it provides swift and easy access into the city centre.

“With Enderby Park & Ride passenger numbers on the increase, travellers are reminded to retain their tickets to make the most of great discounts from some of the top named outlets in the city. “The money saving vouchers offer even more of an incentive to try the Park and Ride and experience the many benefits the service has to offer.” Stopping at St. Nicholas Place, Leicester Royal Infirmary and De Montfort University, park and ride buses from Enderby run every 10 minutes from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday and cost as little as £3.50 for up to five people travelling in a group.
